Continuing Professional Development
The National College provides an ongoing programme of one and two day workshops
and seminars by leading practitioners to enable therapists to keep up to date
with professional developments. Ongoing peer supervision, which is a requirement
of membership of the NRHP, helps therapists maintain their ability to manage
their therapeutic relationships.
Access to further Professional Recognition/Training
The National College is an approved training organisation for those wishing to
undertake further specialist training in the fields of, for instance, Irritable
Bowel Syndrome and Immune-Related illness.
National College Diploma holders who have undertaken the requisite period of
supervised practice may apply to join the Hypnotherapy Division of the British
Register of Complementary Practitioners - BRCP(H) which is administered by the
Institute for Complementary Medicine.
UKCP Registration
Suitably qualified graduates who are members of the NRHP may, after undertaking
various requirements, (including a period of supervised practice, submission of
case studies, supplementary training elements and self therapy), apply for
registration as Hypno-Psychotherapists with the United Kingdom Council for
Psychotherapy's National Register of Psychotherapists.
