Please read the prospectus carefully.
If, after reading it, there is anything you are not clear about or you
have further queries about any aspect of NCHP training, please do not
hesitate to contact us ((

Decide which venue and course
you would like to attend. Course dates and venues are detailed
here. Full information about your chosen
training venue will be included upon application.
Once your application forms are received at the Nelson office, your
references will be taken up and your application considered.
Occasionally, we may request further information or ask you to attend an
interview. If you wish, you can also ask for a personal interview with
the Principal. However, brief, prior interviews are not usually
conducted as we consider one aspect of the Stage One Foundation Course
to be, in effect, an extended 'country house' style interview, where
prospective therapists can be most effectively assessed as they interact
with other students and tutors.
If your application is
unsuccessful we will write to you and return, in full, any payment
you included with your application. We may also make recommendations
about suitable additional training we consider would be beneficial for
you to undertake before reapplying.
When you receive your course
materials please check that all contents are included. You should
make your travel plans and read through the course notes for the first
weekend. If you have any last minute queries, please contact the Nelson
office, where the staff will be pleased to help.
If your application is
successful, you will
be offered a place on your
preferred course if a place is available or, if the course is full, on
the next available course. Your payment will be processed and you will
be sent a binder containing the course materials.
If your preferred course
starts within the next six months,
complete the Student
Application Form and the
Course Enrolment Form .
Please return the two forms, along with
your passport photographs
and payment.
If your preferred course does not
start within the next six months, or the dates of future courses are not
yet available, simply complete and return the
Student Application Form .
In this case, you do not need to send the Course Enrolment Form or
payment. Your application will be processed and, if successful, you will
be informed of the details of
future Stage One courses. You
may then return the Course Enrolment Form, with payment, nearer the
start of the course.
